Easter Raffle and Competitions|
On Wednesday 28th March we held our annual Easter Raffle. In total we gave out 54 prizes fcrom eggs donated by staff. The winners are listed below. Thank you to all of you who purchased raffle tickets; money raised will go into PTFA funds.
We also drew the winners of the Easter colouring competition. The winner for KS1 was Heidi Faud and the winner for KS2 was Aurelia Ritelis- well done!

France Trip 2018|
41 tired children and staff have returned from our school residential in France. A fantastic time was had by all. Photos to follow!

British Science Day 2018|
This year, we joined in with British Science Week and had our very own Science Day ALL DAY. And it was great fun!! We wore our lab coats, just like the real scientists and took part in fun, practical activities and experiments. Science Boffins came into school and provided us with a jaw dropping assembly full of science (not magic!). We were also lucky enough to have a workshop with each class to create either slime or ice cream! Take a look at just some of the photos from our fantastic day!
CAFOD Family Fast Day 2018|
Thank you all for your generous donations on Friday 23rd February for CAFOD Family Fast Day. We rasied a huge £209.84. Thank you all for your help and suport during Lent.
Welcome Back! We hope you had a nice week off during February. We have a busy term ahead including World Book Day, thr France trip, Science Day and the exciting Easter Raffle!
School closes tomorrow Friday 22nd December at 3.15pn and will reopen on Monday 8th January 2017 at 8.55am.

Carol Concert - Change of Venue|
Please note that the Carol Concert will be held in school and NOT at church. We hope to see as many of you as possible tomorrow. The start time is still 2.30pm.
KS2 Carol Concert|
This will be held in Church on Wednesday 20th December starting at 2.30pm. We hope to see as many of you there as possible.
Thank you to everyone who came and suppported our Christmas Fayre and the EYFS/KS1 Nativety plays this week in school. Both were a huge success!
The Christmas Fayre is this Saturday 9th December starting at 10am. We hope to see you there!

Ian Bland Visit|
Poet Ian Bland will visit our school today. He will be working with our classes during the course of the day and there will be an assembly at 2.45pm where children will share their work.
OFSTED INSPECTION - 28TH SEPTEMBER|
An Ofsted inspection is due on Thursday 28th September.
First Holy Communion|
Please register any Year 3 children and above at church if you wish them to recieve the Sacrament of Holy Communion and Reconciliation. You will need to attend Mass weekly on wither Saturday night (6.30pm) or Sunday morning (10.00am). Any questions please speak to Miss Westwell at school or Ursula Heyes at church.

Internet Safety Day 7th February 2017|
Today is internet safety day. There are lots of guidance and resources on the links below.
February Half Term|
What a quick half term this has been! We are entering our final week in school before the February half term. This week children in EYFS will be taking part in ‘Tots on Tyres’ which shows them how to play outdoors safely. There is a meeting on Wednesday evening for children and parents who are attending Winmarleigh.
We have had a small number of internet safety issues recently– please be vigilant with your children at home– social media is not to be used by children under 13 and some apps and games are not suitable for your children. Please let us know in school if you are concerned about an app or game.

Christmas Carol Service|
Yesterday saw EYFS and KS1 classes perform a Carol Service in our church. The singing and reading from the children was fantastic. Thank you to all who came to watch and make it a special afternoon.
Well done to all the children who took part in our Key Stage 2 Christmas Performances last week. Also a big thank you to all parents and carers who came to support.
Thank you to all those who came to support our Christmas Fayre on Saturday morning. We raised £1200. Thank you for your continued support.
On Thursday 17th November we were lucky enough to have a performnace called Sticks and Stones performed by FireHorse Productions. The play was about the kinds of behaviour bullying can be and what to do if children see these types of behaviour. Below are some photographs of the performance:

Macmillan Coffee Afternoon|
On Friday 30th September we held a Macmillan Coffee Afternoon. There was a lovely atmosphere in the school hall and it was nice to see parents old and new attending and having a chat. We raised £190- thank you very much for your kind donations.
The Prodigal Son|
On Tuesday 27th September 2016 Father John brought a very special painting to school: Rembrandt's portrait of The Prodigal Son. All the children saw the painting in a special assembly and some children received the Sacrament of Confession to highlight the element of forgiveness in this Bible story.
